"Angel mid-swing//It boils from within"

Presented as part of Split Bill on Friday, April 25, 2025. This work titled “Angel mid-swing//It boils from within” begins in a maelstrom of nostalgia that visits the magical realism of a hurricane during early 2000’s mexican subcultures, this dance surfaces from the disorienting forces of rage. Through trance-inducing techniques, time becomes suspended, and the viewer is transported to the eye of the storm. This work lies at the intersection of sustainable fashion, performance art, dance theater & ritual. By VACA BACHÉ Performed by Sarahisoke, Aeirrinn Ricks, Demetris Charalambous, Channce Williams, Cristina Moya-Palacios & VACA.
